Area 7E and 7O 2025 10U Fun Fest
Saturday Nov 15, 2025 – Waipio Soccer Complex
Purpose:
Acknowledging teams/coaches for their best efforts to portray best in sportsmanship, teams are selected to play in this 1-day fun fest as a reward to these teams.
Regions are encouraged to use this as an opportunity to challenge teams to participate in this event. Strive to have team compete to be the best in sportsmanship and not only worried about the win.
Region referee support is required so the team DO NOT need to referee games, they are rewarded for the efforts through the season. Region will host fields or specific games during the event. Region must provide volunteers for the pool or assigned games for this purpose.

Eligibility:
Rostered Players: 10
10U Teams, voted or rated as best in sportsmanship. Two (2) Boys and Two (2) Girls teams will be accepted from each region.
* Teams that exceed the roster limit must be approved by RC and FF coordinator must be advised.
Coed team on the boy’s side are allow, with Girls playing on boy’s teams, no boys are allowed to play on girl’s teams against girl teams.
Format:
7 v 7 Player all same in season rules apply
Shoot Out after game, see shoot out rules, ties will be broken by a coin toss or draw
Top scoring team in the shoot-out, 1 boy and 1 girl team will receive a prize for each of the player on the team. Results will be given to your commissioner after all games are complete.
Referee:
Teams don’t need to Referee games, unless you really would like to help, we will accept referees
Post-Game Format
Teams should hurry to get into the shoot-out formation, time is limited between games. We need to get all players a chance to take a shot on the goal.
There will be a Medals presentation once the shoot-out is complete on the middle of the field, coaches get your parents with their camera’s ready in the middle of the field. An official of AYSO will be presenting the medals after a quick congratulatory speech, coaches will have the opportunity to present the medals to the players on the field and acknowledge them for their accomplishments.
Gift Exchange:
Team are encouraged to participate in a Gift Exchange with opponent after the shoot-out, trading of pins or a small snack it has been traditional.
Don’t forget the photo opportunity with both teams and coaches.
Spirit Challenge: Represent Your Region!
1. Criteria for Winning
· Team Spirit: Judged by the creativity and enthusiasm of team chants, cheers, and overall energy.
· Uniforms and Decorations: Points for the most creatively decorated uniforms, banners, and team areas.
· Sportsmanship: Extra points for teams that display outstanding sportsmanship and support for other teams.
Social Media Engagement
· Hashtag Campaign: Create a unique hashtag for the event and encourage spectators to post photos and videos showing their spirit.
· #AYSOFUNFEST25
· Spectator Fan Contests: Organize contests for the best-dressed fans, most creative signs, and loudest cheers.
· Cheer Competitions: Have kids create and perform their own cheers, with prizes for the most enthusiastic and creative performances.
Winners can receive small prizes and recognition every game hour.

Game Officials (Referees) - Turn in completed game cards with sportsmanship
completed on the back each week to the game field box. Sportsmanship scores
to be posted periodically on aysohonolulu.org
